This is a piece that was in pretty bad shape......with a lot of love and care it came back to life. It gives me great pleasure to bring beauty back into these pieces that were at one time so gorgeous and thru time looked so bad because of abuse and neglect. With alot of time and effort and paint they will be in someone's home for a long time instead of being put in the garbage. One of the main reasons I do this is to save what is already here. I feel that the people who do what I do are giving value to all the artisans who came before us who did the work and appreciating and being grateful for all the energy it took to grow the trees and the men who cut them down and made them into lumber and who bought them and then created with their hands a thing of beauty and usefulness. I really do love what I do. Bless all the hands who try and save what is already here.
